This term in English, we are reading Rooftoppers. We have made some fantastic predictions and some of our work will be uploaded here for you to see soon.
In mathematics, we are working hard this term to secure our place value knowledge and four operations to help our arithmetic skills as well as solving lots of problems.
In our other subjects, we are looking at some very interesting topics!
In science we are answering the question ‘Can we vary the effects of electricity?’.
In geography, we are looking at what happens when the land meets the sea. We will be going on a school visit linked to this topic to extend our knowledge.
Marsden Rock and Souter Lighthouse Trip!
We went on an excellent trip to explore Marsden Rock and Souter Lighthouse to support our science and geography topics this half term. We had lots of fun and learnt lots so we are excited to extend this knowledge back in the classroom.
We are also looking at contrasting artists in art, friendships and families in PSHE and religious diversity in RE.
Welcome back to school Badger Class! We are so excited for working hard in year 6 this year.
This year, our teacher is Miss Plummer and we have Mrs Palmer as our teaching assistant. There are 12 children in our class.
On an afternoon, we will join with year 5 (Fox Class) and sometimes their teacher (Miss Jarvis) will teach us.
Keep an eye on this page to see what we get up to!
