E-Safety

From time to time, the school invites parents to take part in  workshops about issues concerning E-Safety. These sessions explore, for example, the use of Facebook and other social networking sites and the potential dangers and risks these sites can pose to everyone, but particularly children and young people.

Paula Graham, Parent Governor, who attended one such session said,”It was frightening how vulnerable the children, and adults, can be when they regularly use the internet.  It also provided some useful ideas on how to minimise the risks.”

As well as the E-Safety policy, please see the downloadable hand-out  for further information.
